Turning the construction industry on its head whilst promoting transparency through the labour market was the driving force behind the creation of Built Open.

About the project

We worked with the Built Open team from their inception stage. Starting with initial concept generation, through to product planning, pitch decks, app design and the visual manifestation of the brand itself. The Built Open platform connecting the worker, hirer and internal team together to facilitate easy and transparent hiring.

Solution

We worked on a three sided marketplace to help Built Open achieve just that, opening up avenues of communication across customer bases and ensuring that all legal obligations were being met with as little handholding as possible. The team soft-launched the product in 2020 immediately signing up thousands of workers and construction partners to launch the business to securing a great funding round to help push them towards their goal.

Problem

Addressing the problem of an increasing skills gap and labour shortages across the construction trade, Built Open connect construction workers to better opportunities with bigger benefits by facilitating the connection between the people directly looking to hire them and the worker themselves.
