Staysure needed a way to stand out in a crowded travel insurance market, and asked us to explore a new way of engaging their users through a travel companion and insurance app.
By shifting the focus of the product experience to trips, we unlock a route to a longer lasting relationship for Staysure and it’s customers. Previously, customers visited their site to buy a policy and then, unless something went wrong, had no more interaction with the brand. By centring a users trip, we could connect customers with the features of their policy when they were truly relevant to their destination.
We refreshed the Staysure palate, bringing in a new deeper purple as well as tweaking their existing colours to make them feel more refined and sophisticated. We brought in two new typefaces - a premium feeling serif pairs with a legible, simple geometric sans.
Staysures travel insurance comes with a range of features outside of their basic cover, and the app allows customers to find and use these easily. From important things like medical records, directions to hospitals and direct access to report lost and stolen items there’s also areas dedicated to connecting with experience partners to help customers have a great time while they’re away - and bring them back to the app.
